*Error 003-0399

So I did the tubehax exploit so that I could region unlock my system and finally play Monster Hunter with my friends. The problem? I still can not do that. I can do Local Play, but nothing online.

Why do I keep getting this error? Someone told me on another forum that it WAS possible to play online, so how come it is not now? I do not understand this at all.

You have not yet agreed to the Nintendo 3DS Service User Agreement.

If you wish to use the online features of your Nintendo 3DS system, you must agree to the Nintendo 3DS Service User Agreement. To read and accept the Nintendo 3DS Service User Agreement, select "System Settings" from the HOME Menu, then choose "Internet Settings." Select "Other Settings," then "User Agreement."

If you're using Tubehax, you have to change the DNS in your internet settings to access the exploit right?
So you'd be accessing the same DNS for the game >_>

You're joking, right? So, I actually can not play any games online? I do not feel like buying Cubic Ninja. Is there any way I can play my games online through Tubehax?

Any games that require you to RegionFree if you're going to be using the Youtube app. xD

Through the exploit they made with YouTube, is there no way to have a custom channel that can just load any region of a game that you can simply open up in the 3DS' own home menu?

That's a question for the developers i'd think.

For now, i'm going to go with no. :)

(sigh) Well, I guess it is a good thing that I imported my 3DS for more reasons than the cover plates. Thank God that Pokémon and Sm4sh let you play with any region, or else I would be in a heap of trouble. The first has a language option and the second is simple enough for me to get around the menus.

Could always get a copy of CN from your 3DS' region, or a Sky3ds. :P

What is Sky3DS? I read the website, and from what it says, it is hacking into my 3DS? So, if that is the case, the next way to region unlock it is to legitimately refrain my 3DS from being able to update its firmware and lose eShop access for good?

Sky3ds is a flashcart, it emulates games. You can use it to emulate Cubic Ninja (of your 3DS' region) to access Ninjhax 2.1.

It works on the latest firmware 9.9.

How do I acquire it? I am looking around the website and am completely lost as to where I can purchase this.

Oh, and you never answered my question. I mean, you told me what it can do, but I want to know if this hacks into my 3DS in general, or if it is just another Tubehax where it is simply loading something.

http://sky3ds.com/reseller.html

It doesn't hack into your 3DS, it emulates .3DS roms. It makes your 3DS think you inserted a retail cartridge.
You'd use it to emulate your 3DS' regions version of Cubic Ninja > Scan the QR code from http://smealum.github.io/ninjhax2/ > Boot into Ninjhax 2.1.
You only need internet access once to setup Cubic Ninja. After that, you just launch CN > Select QR Code > Boot into Ninjhax.

Youtube hax / Ironhax are the alternative to Cubic Ninja / Sky3ds for those who don't want to spend money.

The Flashcart on average is ~$80.

What is "Ironhax"? I heard this requires Ironfall: Invasion so that would require some money spending, actually.

Eighty dollars? Geez, I hope these guys are trying to update that thing regularly, or else that feels a bit wasteful once Nintendo has a hard update that disables usage of it.

If you didn't already have Ironfall (It was pulled from the e-shop shortly after Smealums announcement of an exploit) you won't be able to use it. Free version of Ironfall worked just fine.

Yes, flashcarts cost $$. Sky3ds emulates all but the most recent games (due to new anti piracy checks), still works on the latest firmware though.

I see. So, by free version, the one that is already in "Tubehax" correct? What happens when I install that? Does it provide any different features that Tubehax does not have itself, such as online gaming, perhaps?

I know, but the last one I got only cost like fifty or forty. Eighty is a bit pricey for something that could fail in the future, given the 3DS is pretty complex. But, once I have more games that require online gaming, only then will it come in handy.

Hell, when I think about it now, the import games I have rarely use online so I would have been better off getting one from America so that I could have just used the exploit to play the import games. Now I feel pretty dumb, but I still can return my 3DS as it is not too late.

But, the American one is really big and glossy. Just another reason why I got the other one is that it was smaller and matte.

If you have Ironfall (Free or Paid) on your N3DS, you can install Ironhax onto it. You install Ironhax by either using CN > Ninjhax or Tubehax to access the Homebrew menu.
They are all the same thing, they access Ninjhax 2.1 (Cubic Ninja on a system that's 9.2 or lower can access Ninjhax 1.1)
The only thing stopping you from playing online with RegionFree is Youtubehax, since it requires you to change your DNS every time you're going to use it, and there's no way to change the DNS back before trying to go online with a game.

You can get a Sky3ds and acquire the roms, you can buy the retail carts, or both, whatever you prefer. :)

Ah, man :( so there really is no Homebrew exploit that could install a channel onto the 3DS itself that can just load any region game? That bums me out. Now I really hate the region lock.

Well, based on your opinion, which would be more reliable? All I want to do is play any region game, not roms or anything; and want to save the most money. I heard Cubic Ninja might not get an update, given how old the game is now; which would render the exploit as a permanent deal. Also, I managed to find a copy of Cubic Ninja (Import) that was noticeably cheaper than Sky3DS, which is why I ask this question. Otherwise, I would just get Sky3DS.

If you have no interest in roms, then just getting CN is perfectly fine.
The game wont be patched, the exploit to load ninjhax 2 likely will eventually. With a later firmware update.

So, I have Sky3DS.

If I use the NinjaHax 2.1 exploit, I will not only get region free but also be able to play online games from any region?

In order to do that, I'll have to access the homebrew through Cubic Ninja all the times, right? Any chance to damage Sky3DS or my 3DS doing that?

Will I be able to install DLCs and .CIA files too?

If your firmware is above 9.2, you can't install CIA. You can install DLC if you buy them.
