Everybody asks the same questions, over and over and over, so I mind as well answer your questions now.

"I'm on firmware 5.3.2, should I update?"
No. 5.4.0 and 5.5.0 are extremely unstable as-is right now, and they aren't getting stabilized yet.

"I'm on firmware 5.4.0, should I update?"
This is a 50/50 chance question. 5.4.0's exploit worked fine for me, but 5.5.0's failed for a long time. It differs, so if you want to take the chance, update. If not, stay behind. You'll have an alternative if 5.4.0 doesn't work.

"I'm on firmware 5.5.0, should I update when one comes out?"
NO. No matter WHAT HAPPENS, when a new firmware comes out, DO NOT INSTANTLY UPDATE TO IT. DOING SO MAY JEOPARDIZE YOUR CHANCES. Wait for the devs to give the "Yes/No" to update, which will be updated here for your convenience.

I hope this sorts out some stuff. Don't complain in the WiiU disc. thread that "you updated but we didn't say anything" because I just did.

Thank you.

May I ask why a second Wii U is never a option? I know it costs money but you will never have to worry about updates for playing online as the second Wii U is for homebrew/hax. Id say it solves 100% of the problem

How really disable Automatic Software Download?
Is safe just disable by console or need something in special?

So is 100% safe right?
Yee, you're not actually installing anything to the console, just blocking all of the links the updates can come from. Follow the tutorial in my signature if you want to block using DNS, otherwise use the links in that tutorial in the "parental controls" section of your router settings to do a router block

I updated when I saw you post in the other thread saying you had an exploit on the latest firmware and the unreleased kernel exploit worked, I realise that it might not be the case and I won't blame you if it doesn't but I wanted to use the eShop!
