Hello.. I want to buy a New 3ds But the Seller have a New and unused 3ds .. so he has Only Photos of the Case of the New 3ds .. So.. I'll ask: How do I know which Firmware it has?

This 3DS should be the one that ships with 9.0. I analyzed the serial number "2205832B". If this you can get any confirmation that the bar code is "045496502966", then the 3DS will match the serial YEM100956290.

Please make sure that the serial is YEM100956290 and bar code is 045496502966. If it isn't, then your 3DS is not going to be coming with 9.0. Make sure this 3DS hasn't been opened before either. If it it has, then there is a chance the seller may have updated it.

Then all you need to do is make sure that bar code matches. If it doesn't, then the serial is going to be off.

I've got a mail from the Seller:
Hallo,
Firmware sagt mir nichts, auf der Verpackung steht, das auf dem Gerät die europäische Version ist. Der Gerätecode ist: YEM100581829. Art-Nr.: 2205832B, Barcode: 045496502966.
Das Gerät wurde am 02.08.2015 bei einer Verlosung gewonnen!

So.. the new 3ds was bought at the 02.08.15 and the Barcode is right .. but the YEM is wrong :/ what now?

I thought the firmware code was on the side of the package.. howsoever.. I think the barcode is identical to the serial otherwise he can't sell you that and your warranty expires. According to the serial, it must be a new3DS with 9.0
