Homebrew so what exactly do i do with downloaded homebrew from github?

so ive found a few cool apps from 3dbrew and when i dowload them it takes me to github.
i download the zip and then extract to the sd in a 3ds folder.
but it is not showing up
after looking into it i found out that there is no .3dsx in there just a bunch of other files that i presumably turn into a 3dsx to run.


my question is how
I am complete noob to 3ds brew

GitHub is a source code repository. As such you need to compile the source using devkitpro tool chains and ctrulib. There are other threads on this subject. Most likely you downloaded the wrong thing and grabbed the source rather than the pre compiled binary/3dsx.
