Hacking GBA games on R4 expansion question

Q.Q; is this expansion pack what I need to enable GBA emulation on an original R4 card running Wood 1.62 on a DS Lite?

The GBA Expansion pack will let you play GBA games on your DS Lite. Wood does not natively recognize this card like it does the 3in1 though. So you will need to run GBA ExpLoader from Wood to use it. Alternatively, you could use YSMenu on your R4 instead of Wood, or boot into YSMenu from Wood and flash games to it this way, as YSMenu will natively recognize the GBA Expansion Pack.
It is a good price if you don't mind buying and soldering a new battery. It is likely you will need to replace the battery when you get it, as it's probably been in storage a long time. This GBA Expansion Pack uses a rechargeable ML1221.
