This may seem like a silly question. But know of any WiiU games that use touch pretty much exclusively? Bonus points if its a demo because that way I can try it for free, which would really help me out. I know of Little Inferno and SDK Paint, although that last one isn't a game so its not really what I'm looking for.

So touch screen heavy games (not gamepad games like ducktales, nsmb or smash)?

Not sure, but perhaps Kirby and the rainbow paintbrush?

On Trine 2, I ended up using the drawing ability pretty much exclusively in the end (much faster than using the joysticks). Though you still need buttons for walking around, iirc.

Oh, and dr. Kawashima's brain training. It's a DS VC, but doesn't use buttons (though you can use them to click 'next').

Scribblenauts Unlimited
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse

Can't remember any others but eShop has a chunk of which are touchscreen-only for a home console.

I don't think I like the idea of Trine combining traditional and touch. I would be willing to give it a shot if I could play it with traditional controls only.

correct

You can use traditional controls only on trine thats how i played it fun games by the way you should try them.

apparently Trine 2 has off-tv play but Trine 1 doesn't. weird huh. So I might check out the Trine 2 demo.

I just tried Colors Zen. The WiiU version has a demo. It's a very short demo, but it's nice.

I did a Let's Play of Trine 2. It's... wieeeeerd. Like most of the puzzles in the game can be skipped by exploiting the game's physics.

I played Child of Light and to delay the opponent's attacks I'd put a finger on them so I'd get to make a hit first. It's kinda cool but also feels like cheating.
