That's a shame, but if it means we can run the homebrew menu from within gateway mode (keeping the faith, since I already bought the damn thing) that'll be handy, I missed that since ye olde ninjhax stopped working on newer emunands.

It would be useless for CFW/Gateway users in that regard as well. Because you can just install a CIA of Cubic Ninja.

That is whats confusing me I downloaded it from the eShop and i'm on 9.0 Sysnand and it loads just fine.

Are you on a n3DS? It won't boot from 9.2 sysnand on my o3DS.

I have a n3ds on 9.2 w/ CN Pasta CFW and Gateway (9.5 emunand) I downloaded this game onto my sysnand via pasta cfw and eshop spoofer. Sadly I still have the 4gb SD card and this game made me run out of space. How do I "export" persay, the cia file of this legit eshop download so that I can re-install it later on in case it's removed from eshop so that I can free up some space on my 4gb SD card so that I can install a smash update?

Then o3DS users will be boned then. I tried downloading it in CFW that doesn't use firmlaunch. Doesn't start. Tried downloading it again from CFW that firmlaunches 9.6 native firm...still doesn't boot.

I only got it to boot from my 9.9 emunand.

I can access the eshop on my sysnand which is 9.2. It allows me to download updates for my real store bought 3ds games so that I can play online w/o updating. I can also modify the gamesaves this way as well directly via sysnand/pastacfw, and stuff like that.

Could you describe the exact environment and the eshop installation process that you took to get the game booting on your native and unpatched n3ds 9.0 sysNAND? Afaik, everyone else who has tried this is hanging at the 3ds logo.

im not sure what special thing I did but here goes
pop in cubic ninja
run pasta CFW
run FreemultiPatcher
go to eshop
download ironfall
??????
profit!

Get the update, you can always delete it afterwards if it isn't needed.
