Is that how much a Happy Meal toy costs in US? Thought it'd be like $3.50.
Lol. A few years ago I refused to buy any more happy meals. They toys would break in 5 minutes and often were just stupid like a plastic Mario visor. My wife found out they will just sell the toys now for about a $1 so we did pick up a few of the Minion figurines they other day. Fun movie btw.

One of my wife's employees is a movie reviewer and said Pixels is good/fun but not "great".

It's an Adam Sandler movie so it's a disaster waiting to happen.

All of his movies turn out good. Which one was a disaster? Haven't been keeping up much.
Well, let's see;

Jack and Jill
Grown Ups
Grown Ups 2
Blended (bad but not terrible)
Just Go With It (same as Blended)
Paul Blart: Mall Cop
Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 (both masterpieces were produced by Adam Sandler)
Going Overboard
The Cobbler

If we're lucky we might even get Jack and Jill 2 next year. :)

The general consensus of thought is any movie he actually stars in, after the water boy, is just terrible. Jack and Jill, for example.

I actually liked "grandma's boy" for the mindless fun it is, and that's from his production company. I haven't seen pixels yet, but I hear it's of the same vein.

It's possible that since Grown Ups got a sequel that the same might happen to Jack & Jill. The sequels no one asked for. lol
I wonder how they made enough money from that movie to justify a sequel. Or maybe they are just going to use unused footage and make it into a new movie. I'm not going to watch it, I'm just fascinated by the process that would allow for a sequel to such a despised movie.
