I dont have an NNID is it safe to make one one my EMUNAND? I just bought my 3ds at gamestop its 7.2 and emunand 9.9 pasta rxtools. Can I download updates for my fake CIA games or will that not work? Also until what version is it safe to update emunand?

It's totally safe making NNID on emuNAND. You can download any updates for your unsigned CIA games without any issue. 9.9 for emuNAND is safe for now.

There is no danger in using emuNand to create the NNID. It will be linked with the "console ID" that emuNand is using, so anything you obtain from the eShop will be seen as "legit" by that emuNand, since it'll be signed for that console ID. The only real difference is that anything you grab will function with signature checks enabled, so if you have a retail game, you can download the update and it'll work with the retail game (as long as the retail game works in emuNand. I don't know how rxTools handles retail cards, if there's a mode like Gateway's "Classic Mode", or what). An update from the eShop will work perfectly fine, whether the original game is legit or not. An update downloaded and installed via CIA won't be signed, so it'll only work when signature checks are disabled.

There's one danger in using emuNAND to create the NNID - If you delete the emuNAND before deleting NNID, your console will never be accessible on anything requires NNID, unless you remember the NNID and the password to re-login.
If you couldn't remember either of NNID and password to re-login, then your console's NNID-related functions would be bricked.

So if I bought the system used off gamestop, My NNID features could be already bricked? I haven't used NNID so I honestly don't know but when I bought my system it was factory reset.
