Homebrew [Question] Offline Gateway Mode

Pretty much what the tittle says. I am off to camp this Friday and I'd like to bring my 2DS with me but since the only way I access GW mode is through online, what is an alternative to access GW mode without an android device (cause I own a Blackberry ==) or using Cubic Ninja (cause I don't own one)?

But MSET will only work with rxtools for now so you will have to use cias during that time. It's easy enough to convert .3ds saves to .cia saves if you need

Also note that this is a Nintendo 2DS and so that its firmware cannot be lower than 6.0. Mine is currently at sysNAND 9.2.

For 2DS, you've no offline option with regards to Gateway. You could use CakesFW instead, has downgraded MSET support.

But downgraded MSET bricks your 2DS if you happen to format it by mistake.

Do you think rxTools will work? I've not used it before but I'm open for any suggestions other than damaging my 2DS.

Well, if you want to run the exploit offline you have to downgrade MSET.
Downgrading the MSET per-se will not brick your 2DS.
But supposedly if your format your 2DS with the MSET downgraded you can't complete some configuration procedure and you can't even access the menu.
If you remember to upgrade MSET before formatting, all is OK. So it is a risk that you can live with I suppose.
CakesFW should work, I'm not sure if rxTools already has MSET for FW9.2.

I don't have enough room to update my Blackberry so I'm stuck with ver. 10.1.0 which I need to update to 10.2.1.

You should buy one, they are very cheap nowadays. Alternatively, you could move all your data to your PC, upgrade, then move it back to your phone

Anyone else have an issue with the android gateway launcher? I always have to recreate the network connection on my 3ds everytime I use it. Also, if I run it more then once I have to actively kill the process and reopen the app, otherwise there's no connection to connect to.
