Hardware Anyone bought a New 3DS recently?

Also wondering. Looking at Japanese region 3DSs right now and I'd vastly prefer to get one that's hackable. Regionfour still works but still.

I bought a white New 3DS from Amazon UK on May 19th and received a 9.0 system. From my understanding, there's a good chance (or at least at the time) that a white New 3DS is on <9.2. It makes sense because the XL model seems to be universally more popular and thus have sold through the initial shipments.

No problem!

If you mean through a system transfer, no. If you mean CIA's, yes. You can transfer your saves using savedatafiler.

Well, if your 3DS is on 9.2 or below, you can look into FunkyCIA2 for your eShop content, but I've personally never used it. It's used for making CIA's out of your eShop content, which you can then install on another 3DS. But generally, you can't transfer eShop content from one region to another. You also need to be on the latest firmware (or you can spoof it, but you need to look into that) to system transfer.

Just ordered my N3dsXL from Amazon, and it indeed came with firmware 9.4 Was hoping it was gonna be <9.2, but it was a gift purchase and I guess I can't complain. Made my GW a paperweight though, and now I have to wait for a Sky3ds to come in!
