Hi there,

I had two NAND backup (of the same 3ds), one of v9.2 and other of v4.2 which was downgraded.
But, sadly my data got formatted and on pendrive, I was only having one, which I don't even know that of which firmware it is.

So, my question is that, is there any method so that I can know that to which firmware does it belong?
And, secondly, if I ever need to do hard mod, can I "patch" my downgraded v4.2 NAND firmware backup?

Thanks in advance for answering guys! :)

If you mean restoring the 4.2 backup, yeah sure.
You could try to inject your Unknown Nand backup into emuNAND with emuNAND tool and see what firmware it is.

Oh yeah, good idea! :)
And, it is completely safe to inject the downgraded v4.2 nand even on the limited edition consoles?

If it's the console you created the backup from, it will work.
