Hey Guys,

I just decrypted the 3DS Game "Shin Atelier Rorona - Hajimari no Monogatari The Alchemist of Arland" and wanted to look into the files.
I decrypted the Game with AutoCIA and extracted the RomFS with Asia81's PackHack.
It's a bit weird but the romfs has 3 movie-files inside with a mp4-extension.
I can't open this files with VLC Media Player and I think this files are moflex-files.

The FIleheaders are: 4c 32 aa ab

I've uploaded one of the files to puu.sh.
If you want to look at it, do it. I would like to add Subs to the videos but I'm not sure if it's possible.
<snip>

We really need a way to decrypt Moflex and create own Moflex-files :/

I'll see what I can find about MOFLEX files' headers. Although, it could be it's own file format entirely.

Possibly. But this mp4-files have the same Header as some other moflex-files i saw.
Would be awesome if someone could help me with decode/encode this format.

Thanks for the information.
Bad that there's no way to edit them yet :/
Hopefully someone will be work on it
On the second link I gave, though, one of the links gave you one of the Mobiclip codecs. You should set that up and then try running it in VLC.

Okay. I thought one Video-FIle would be okay.
Changes some bytes so it's not the original one anymore.
But the file isn't damaged at all
It doesn't work like that - if there's even a little part of copyrighted stuff in there, it's against the rules.

It's like slapping a "THIS IS NOT A PIRATE COPY OF A MOVIE LOL!" text on a movie - it's still a pirate copy ;)

mp4 is simply a container, you can jam almost anything you want in it, they probably slightly broke normal spec and shoved moflex video into an mp4 container (probably to make use of some standard audio codec...)
