Didn't injecting DSiWare have it's own limitations? I think this lets you be able to inject titles or play them raw without the limitations set by having to inject them into a dsiware title. How this is done is not my field. I'm probably misinterpreting what it's saying entirely. I'll see if Shinyqugasire wants to say anything about it. (I dunno how to tag so I think I did it or I might not have. :P)
To tag you put a @ before the name.
Here I tag you, @Psi-hate

From what the paste says, it looks similar to what was done for the GBA conversion. Patch the system service, then generate a DSiWare title with the proper footer out of an NDS file.

Thank you again for the dumps. Now please delete them from the forum, there are personal informations inside (like your wifi connection name and password and your ds profile data).

I'm going to keep only dela's dumps because he is one of the pasta developer (if you agree of course).

Hahah, I realized that a moment after I posted, so I removed my wi-fi settings and re-uploaded. My DS profile data is presumably occupied by mset, unless I misunderstood how that works. Either way, dump removed.

There is nothing really dangerous, it's unlikely that your neightbours recognize your nick on GBATemp and steal your wifi connection.

But it's better to protect privacy.

ask for a moderator(online) to do it!

I'm excited to see what the team is up to. Alberto told me a bit of what was going on when we were talking about region free in PM.

In the meantime, I'm just enjoying Pokémon: Alpha Sapphire.

Quick question about the Pastebin posted earlier regarding how to inject DS games.

If this method is used, will it have the same issue with existing DSiWare titles, where you get booted completely out of Pasta and have to restart Ninjhax and everything to get back? I found that out the hard way when I tried playing Four Swords, and had to go find my CN card to restart everything.

Also, is this something that's going to be added into a future version of Pasta? Either way, seems pretty useful, and I promised my younger siblings that I'd give them my DS when I didn't need it for running my DSTT flashcart anymore.

If it runs in the same "emulator" as existing DSiWare titles, then ofcourse rebooting Pasta would be required.

When you watch #3dsdev, you learn every day...
For example, this day, I learned that Pasta CFW main purpose is piracy.
Me and the other devs didn't create that CFW for piracy, but obviously we were wrong.
Of course we do know that the main use of Pasta is piracy (sadly), but I thought we didn't create the CFW for piracy.
I did learn that other people know better than ourselves why we do things.

Of course that's irony for those who didn't understand.

When you create an unlimited open system, the first thing to occur will be piracy, the second will be Homebrew apps. Anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding themselves to be honest. I myself would KILL for a PS1 emulator, I'm sure its more than possible. Weaker devices have done it.

3dsdev is a wasteland of drama and vague answers to newcomers. Don't worry about it.

and that all Pasta contributors have now contracted the plague, and they now are not welcome anymore inside #3dsdev

Honestly as i'm quite poor i use it for pirate some games but not all but the main purpose is homebrews

I'm not kidding to myself.
But what I reproach to "pasta's main purpose is piracy" that I read in #3dsdev is the word purpose.
WE DID NOT CREATE PASTA FOR PIRACY. ONCE FOR ALL.

"pasta devs aren't welcome because pasta's main purpose is piracy"

Yes but our developing tools are not powerful enough for the moment
