Sopheroo ; heyy, i tried changing my player 2's house exterior and interior but whenever i inject it, my game just crashes (restarts a whole new game)
the original code is : 02 00 00 00 00 00 01 01 00
i changed it to this : 07 01 00 07 0a 09 0e 03 0a
am i doing something wrong? o.o

Can you take a screencap of your HxD information, so that I can double-check if you have the right values?

Your exterior information looks alright, I see no invalid information, but I need to double-check if you put them in the right place. I'm really visual, I'm sorry!

Also, are you injecting on player 1, or player 2?

To do that, you'd have to edit the ROM, not the RAM.

No.

What we have guessed is that villager house exteriors are not as customisable as players, and are probably two bytes long and located in the villager information sequence. I used to have data for this, but I deleted it due to lack of time and lack of interest.

Keep in mind that concerning house editing that you need to have paid the two first loans to Tom Nook otherwise you cannot unlock Island access and the HHA.

some games you can skip the update, for other games you can use regionThree or RegionFOUR, and other games wont work



Anyway, I want to change my player name from Jake to Jake(playcoin symbol) but when I put the playcoin symbol in a text to hex thing the value is this long: 26 23 35 37 34 36 31 3b. Is this normal?
