Hello,

Is it possible to run DSMODE on the n3DS with a simple flashcard?

btw: will the new supercard also include its own cpu, if so when will it be released?

Thanks guys!

Yes it is possible. Regarding super card I can find no solid evidence it exists or ever will. Their website does not make any mention of it even being in development.

which flashcard can play DS mode on the n3DS?

A bunch, but the only ones worth noting are the r4ids.cn R4i Gold and the DSTWO. DSTWO is near impossible to find now so your only choice is the R4i Gold (around $15)
This is the correct cart: http://www.nds-card.com/ProShow.asp?ProID=149
You can probably find it a couple bucks cheaper if you look around, but most sites don't list the brand in the description and often have low res images so it's not easy to tell if it's the correct cart since they often look alike.

Dear jdbye,

are we talking about 3DS flashcards that support DSMODE, or oldies DS flashcards?
Nintendo stopped blocking DS flashcards. 3DS flashcards they are still working on blocking. If you want to play 3DS games, and you are on 9.7, you need Sky3DS, If you just want to play Origional DS games, follow what Jdbye said:

I bought this http://www.peachds.com/?product=/r4isdhc-v2015/ What's the difference from this and gold?

Good job on asking which flashcart to buy then buying a completely different flashcart anyway.
The difference is that the R4i Gold specifically is one of the few R4 clones that receive good support. Most of the others used to be blocked in every other firmware update and they just released new cart hardware revisions instead of updating the existing cart. Not that it matters that much anymore with Nintendo no longer blocking DS flashcarts and DS games not even being in production.
Ignore me, I'm stupid :P

It was not OP that bought that card :P
