nitr8, tried booting from a HDD same result, I dont think its a problem with the storage device.
Just tested hexen 1.1 with release 1, and it boot just fine, do you have r32 by chance? Thanks.

Just tried doom and it's running great. Any chance of adding libwupc (wiiiU Pro Controller Library) Support as this would also play as good as a classic controller?

I know EKeEke added support without having the pad either to genplusgx recently? No worries though and thanks for theses releases as they all seem to run perfect on my wiiu with the classic pad anyway.

I'm starting to think the problem with WiiHexen is related to video mode, can someone with a NTSC-U system check if WiiHexen r33 works?
So far we have confirmation that nakata and nitr8 working, both of them using PAL system (I guess)

There does exist a patch for once of the source files of the Wii devkitPro. I once got hold of it but missed to link to the thread which contained it. So it's completely lost. It was easy to include though. Maybe someone else finds it once again.

I definitely won't buy a Gamecube controller just for adding it's support. I'm sorry about that. To the other side: I currently don't even have the time to do more of such things. I will only do bug fixing because I'm going to get a father in the next few months and other, more important things have to get done.
Don't buy a GC Controller just for testing; buy it for SSBB.

Hey guys, can someone be so kind as to helping me out? I've been trying to get a PWAD with the DOOM 1 and 2 General MIDI music in it to work on WiiDOOM R33, but it's not working! I load up the IWAD for The Ultimate DOOM or DOOM II, then select the PWAD containing the music, load them up, and it plays either the OPL music or OGG music (depends which one i have selected)! What am I doing wrong? do I need to use an older version of WiiDOOM? or what? Somebody please help me! (BTW I also used Slade3 to get MUS files and loaded it into a PWAD, but it still gives the same results)

If I place Timidity in the WiiDOOM folder and load a game, will it automatically play?

There currently is no solution to the problem with music repeating when using OGG files. The standard code of Chocolate includes repeating it normally. But unfortunately it's not working for the Wii port so I had to manually write some code to do it instead. So I don't think that I'll be able to get around that little pause in the game. I'm sorry about that.

For the current time being, I'm working on some more additions to the port which include:

- freelook
- more blood and gore
- autoaim
- weapon recoil
- player thrust
- ability to switch sound output channels
- include use of unused sprites for unloaded weapon shells
- ability to change weapon speed for the chaingun

Timidity should be supported but I'll check that if I'm done with the things mentioned above. Several code changes have already been committed to the GitHub repository and I'm currently counting at R72 for my Wii port of DOOM.

I Started up WiiDOOM with OGG music selected, but no music in the doom1 music folder, and I opened up console, and it said "Error loading MIDI: /ETC/Timidity/Timidity.cfg: No such file or directory". Is that how i'm supposed to load MIDI music? I create an ETC folder, place it inside the WiiDOOM folder, then go into the ETC folder and create another folder called Timidity, then place the Timidity.cfg file in there? please explain to me if that's what i'm supposed to do, or if i'm doing something wrong. thanks... wait a minute... didn't he say that he disabled the Timidity Code? and that's why it doesn't work? how do you re-enable it?
