whats the differnce in this and bbm other then nintendo code

In the end, they accomplish similar goals. This is a homebrew application, may do some things differently, and has a few more features, such as deleting CIAs and batch installing/deleting all CIAs in a folder. Also, it works from Ninjhax.

Unless you have an emuNAND unlinked with your sysNAND, there should only be one folder in Nintendo 3DS, and there should always be only one folder in that folder. Otherwise, I'm not entirely sure myself how to determine which one it is other than checking contents and folder size.

Thanks for your help :)

I tried but now I have the error "Wrong description". Do you know what that mean ?

It's "Invalid description (0x189)"

Edit: I'm trying to install a Mario Kart Cia coming from my bundled old3ds on my new3DS...

Can't really tell for sure since its an undocumented error code, but since its in between similar things I'd say something about your CIA is bad. It's between some error codes for hash and signature checks.

I used your trick and created a empty "title.db" and "import.db" in /Nintendo 3DS/id0/id1/dbs/ but I was not able to do the part where the SD management app repair those files. I think this option is not available on the new3ds ?
Do you think the problem can come from here ?

Just to make sure, you went into Data Management -> Nintendo 3DS -> Software, correct?

Did you just create folders named id0 and id1? Because if you did, delete them. In the Nintendo 3DS folder there will be a folder with random numbers and letters as the name. This is the "id0" folder. Open it and you see another folder with random numbers and letters. This is id1. Open that and make the empty title.db and import.db files in the dbs folder there. If you are on windows, make sure to either unhide file extensions for known filetypes or save as "All files" in notepad when making the empty files.

Edit: ninja'd. Glad you got it sorted out. Leaving post as is so others can use the info too.

Thanks for your help. In fact I though id0 and id1 were games id, so I was searching for Mario Kart id0 and id1.
I have now understood that id0 and id1 were only console id :D

Ahh crep. Maybe they'll be a fix
Nothing to fix. They can't be "legit" unless you packed them with your own tickets (meaning you own them) or they're installed already on a system from the factory.

Ok. So I have a Sky3DS + Cubic Ninja. Is there any way to play CIA backups with this?
Nope. You still need to patch out sig checks to install and run cart->cia backups as well as anything you don't own the eshop version of.

It seems the size of stripped.elf is less than the limit for spider3DS LoadCode. If ctrulib wasn't so dependent on the bss section and bss being initialized to zero, it might be worth looking into making FBI launch directly from spider.
This would be so useful for 2DS consoles that have problems reading the gateway mSD card
