Nice. Maybe you can show me the ropes of Great Sword. I main Switch Axe. About 300 hours of it in MH3U and now 200 hours in MH4U...but I think Great Sword is my second favorite.

I do like randomly joining other GBATemper's rooms when they're open. I just wish there was a way in the game to see which rooms are already full before attempting to join.

Im not that expert in GS myself but with correct skill it should be fine. Im currently using DIABLOS X armor and i GEM it with FOCUS skill and MIND'S EYE then using UKANLOS GS.

I got a new fav Switch Axe armor & stats combo. I know the S.Devil Jho swaxe doesn't have the power phial but it has crazy raw and crazy long purple. I got a whole devil doom motif going on...

added you to the OP. go ahead and add me at least on 3ds. I'll add you when I get off work later. I know I have the Shag GQ but I don't remember the details. I'll check. Will have to double check which parts I have in those screenshots...I think it's Savage Jho helmet, teostra chest, narga arm & leg, and kushala waist. charm is attack+14 with 2 slots.

I got a new favorite swaxe set I'll have to show off. Evade Dist, Evade+2, Attack+L, Sharpness+1, and Razor Sharp! made possible with a Attack+14 Sharpness+7 charm I got like in the same session of my other Attack+14 charm. I didn't want to quit that day. I've never been so lucky lol. I pair that armor with the Fatalis swaxe. around 1700 raw, 600 blast! it's explosions for days and w/ razor sharp, I rarely drop from purple.

Poisonous, I recently made that Fatalis Switchaxe myself, quickly became my favourite. Threw together a set with Honed Blade, Razor Sharp, Evade Extender, Bombardier and Evasion +1, and it's serving me pretty well as a general purpose axe.

Allen, thanks for the add! I've already got the head piece under control, but thanks anyway. Specifically looking for Chest, Arms and Waist, if my resources are accurate.

Whats up this "purple drop" ??

Every blademaster weapon has a sharpness level. Red, Orange, Green, Blue, White, Purple. Purple being the sharpest and does the most damage. As you probably know, as you attack, the weapon sharpness will drop depending on how much of a certain sharpness a particular weapon has. So when I say 'rarely drop from purple', I mean my weapon has so much purple sharpness attributed to it, I rarely drop down to the white sharpness level in the middle of a hunt.

Nice set! I don't have a charm that will gem in all 6 of those skills (counting Honed Blade as 2). I can only get 5. Also, no go on the Shag GQ. Sorry.

EDIT: Oh it looks like there is one possible set I can use that will allow me all those skills except instead of Honed Blade, I can do Sharpness+1 and Attack+M.

Micky, what do you think? is it better to have Attack+L or Attack+M w/ Bombardier?
