OK. I recently got in the Zelda series a few years ago with Wind Waker HD on Wii U. LOVED it. Absolutely LOVED it. I wanted to play the 2nd quest but discovered it was just a repeat with different clothes and maps, villains, treasure placed differently. Regardless, I wanted more. I received OOT on 3DS because I heard it's the ultimate Zelda game. I can see why. I played it almost every day. Absolutely LOVED that game, as well. Beat it. Beat Master Quest. I have another post on the Wii U forums asking about the next logical step as far as the 3D Zelda series goes. Twilight, Skyward, & MM are my choices. Unless you want to count Hourglass or the other DS one. I bought MM for Gamecube (relatively cheap, at the time). Ripped it and play it on Wii U -- for HD! I .. This game frustrates me. Being rushed, it feels. It feels like it should've been a large, convoluted side quest in OOT. The countdowns and time restriction make me anxious and it's hard to think! I know a lot of people have the complaint about time restrictions and they like to take their time & roam around - I'm with them - At the same time, MM is so much like OOT, aesthetically, that I WANT to like it play it.. I find it hard to enjoy MM - the N64 port on the Gamecube version, anyway. I've tried on Friday or Saturday nights for hours. It's not like I play for 10 minutes & see a countdown & say F# it. It's also not simply the inconvenience of time constraint, it's the "Oh sh*t, I'm going to run out of time! Where was I going? Why? F#CK!" anxiety attack deal! Lol.
Maybe it's petty. Maybe I need medication. Anybody else have similar f#'d up issues with this game? I'm thinking of just skipping & moving on to Skyward or Twilight. Thoughts? Is the 3DS remake any better? More user friendly, maybe?
Thanks.
