Just wondering if GaryOpa has contacted Gateway about the issues with some Ocarina Of Time carts not working..? Just wondering if I'm better off waiting a little longer for them to sort it out (if that's even possible) or just buying a Sky3DS flashcart..?

wow, if I read this correctly, no more card to play 3ds roms? just this Zelda game and a hacked savegame! Could I download OOT cia on my old 3ds, and do the exploit?
The card automatically pops out of your 3DS toaster style every time you try and boot Gateway Mode!
What I find odd is that they allow you to go into classic mode, but without the Gateway red card it states that it may limit funcionality, it doesn't outright cockblock

At least we in Germany can get a used one for 7,99€. It's not the same, but actually quite reasonable for homebrew (and what's to come). I hope that GW will hurry up porting the exploit. I'm stuck with a CN copy I can't properly use on my N3DS and my copy of OoT is over 300 miles away from my place (which my CN copy was, too, until last Saturday). =/
I shouldn't lend my games to other people, obviously. xD

i'm going to use my gateway MicroSD card (only had like 3 games on it) to test this EMUNAND TOOL. I'm scared shitless of wiping my old XL MicroSD card....Link between worlds and tomodachi is what i'm most paranoid about

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.+1 -

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.
The issue is DRM -

You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
