Well you need a gateway ~$80 and OoT ~$40.. that is the price of like two legit games.

1) Yes, you only need to load the save onto the Ocarina of Time game cart once.
2) You only need to run the exploit if you turn off the n3ds, going in and out of sleep will keep exploit running
3) You cant use the blue cart for DS games above 9.2 i believe and you would need to re-run exploit if you did run the blue cart.

I once opened all my 3ds cases and they we're all empty, I had mild panic attack and then realized they were in my club nintendo 3ds game holder. Do you have anything like a plastic 6 card holder or some kind of case that has slots for 3ds games? I'm guessing it's somewhere in your house, time to start tearing that place apart like I did when my games went missing. Sucks I know...

My sysNAND backup was 1,933 MB so emuNAND should be the same.

Not long ago I was looking for Cubic Ninja, opened the case aaaand it was empty.
Almost had an heart attack until I realized it was on my N3DS

Plus a dongle or old 3DS.

Zelda OoT is going to skyrocket for a while, so I'm guessing both will be going for 80.
That's 80+80+20+170= $350 for the whole package. Maybe 310 if you find a good deal.
And even then you're not sure if the game will work.

But really, my main issue is the hassle of it all.

What I don't seem to understand is why didn't they use Cubic Ninja in the first place? That would've clearly eliminated the savegame requirement.

Only reason I can think of is maybe it'll work on firmware above 9.2 and Nintendo hasn't patched it yet, but Gateway's website clearly states 9.2 or below.

OMG, shoutouts to my friend offering to buy an Ocarina 3D cart! I feel so relieved, but I have to wait til Monday since that's when it comes. I got Cubic Ninja if the update comes early, and since my friend doesn't have Cubic Ninja, he can just have. By the way, are homebrew apps such as BlargSnes working with sound? (CIA)

Can someone explain me why this only work up to 9.2 and non work in 9.5. The hack save game is new for the 3ds/2ds/n3ds so how Nintendo have done to patch the exploit between firmware 9.2 and 9.5 if they dont know the new exploit ?

Seems there is a bug with big Micro-SD Cards (16 and 32 GB for example).

Emunand will install fine and multirom menu will work fine but system settings won't show GW before the firmware version (seems it switch you back to sysnand when you enter settings, so it's better to not update if you don't see GW).

Works fine with the original 4 GB Micro-SD card though (show GW, and update fine to 9.5.23).

About the preinstalled game, it seems you just have to backup your Micro-SD card before the emunand installation then copy back the files once emunand is installed (as long as you don't use the "format" option in sysnand, it should work fine and give you the preinstalled game back in sysnand).
