I received a sky3ds Friday, loaded a few files onto it, and it worked great. This morning I tried it again: the light no longer illuminates when I press the button, and the 3DS indicates that no cartridge is in the slot.

I've already sent a question to the vendor about replacement, but if they won't replace it am I SOL? Is there anything I might be able to try to jumpstart this bastard back to life, or at least verify for sure whether it's dead?

I've already verified the SD card is fine and formatted properly.

Either a dead sky3ds, or the SD card isn't making contact. May try cleaning the SD contacts and trying again.

It's a brand new Sandisk Ultra C10. Tried it with a few older cards, also verified working, and none of them will work. Tried cleaning out the cart, too.

Try the card on another 3ds systems and try cleaning your 3ds slot on your 3ds. I know my old nds lite cant read my ds flashcard. I had to cleanmy slot to get it work.

Got an email from the reseller that said basically the same things in this thread. Nothing seemed to be working, then I just sort of squeezed the two faces of the cart while the card was in it, then lo and behold it started loading again. Maybe it was indeed the pins not making contact.

Replace it...if it's giving you issues already I wouldn't chance it.
