The pngs are also save to the root of my usb for some reason. Also noticed that nincfgs are getting saved to both devices too.
it depends what you select "sd" or "usb" when you start nintendont
png file get saved into different location when usb loaders are used
copy the ipl files to root of both devices and try again

you said it worked before, this is really confusing

can you check the official dol since I'm using the same code for the ipl now

so any bugs to report concerning the latest update?
also I would like to replace some dark backgrounds with nintendo/dont/gamecube/gc controller stuff
still waiting for submissions :)
D-Rex sup!
Sorry, been taking a break from any type of Wii moddery. Having to manage hard drives and setups for 3 other people, plus keeping up on the 3DS scene is exhausting. I needed some "me time" with MH3U. Might get back into things after a while.

Everything works fine in USBLGX. That's what I meant when I said it worked. I didn't test in HBC yet at the time since I rarely launch from there. I'm only having problems when launching from HBC.
Since my games are on my USB and the SD is where my nintendont folder is located, the BIOS should be on the root of my USB, right? I must have accidentally selected SD when launching Nintendont one time an that's why stuff was saved on both devices. Should I still go ahead and save the BIOS on the root of both devices?

Btw when I asked where Loader themes are kept, I meant the ones with the progress bars. I didn't notice them on my devices.

they are named "ninbacklight ninbackdark and ninbacknobar.png search :P

new update

Using official ipl code
pal bios will get deleted automatically on wiiu from now on

Still no GC intro before games in both dols with BIOS on both devices. On HBC, of course.

Im on wii u and it works just fine from HBC (1.1.2). iplusa.bin bios on root of HDD (USB Port 0), Nintendont R296 on SD. I had to turn Memcard Emulation to ON in order for the bios to show, otherwise the bios is skipped when launching games through Nintendont & HBC.

Nintendont folder (SD:/apps/Nintendont/) Contains:
-boot.dol
-icon.png
-meta.xml
-NinBackLight.png
-NinLegacy.png

HDD (root) contains:
-controllers
-games
-saves
-sneek
-wbfs
-iplusa.bin
-nloader.log
-segaboot.bin

I tried it with mcemu on and BIOS works. I can say for sure that I'm not having any issues with Nintendont or the mod except for this now.
Thanks to everyone that helped me out!

EDIT: Also, is the Wii Theme still going to be made the default one?
