I just updated to 9.5 EmuNAND no problem. Got on ESHOP just fine.
This is a system with a Downgraded 4.2 sysNAND.

Im not bashing GW btw, I own this card as well. But, it has been useless since I bought it more than 2 months ago.....

I am on a 4.3 fw sysnand system though. Chances are emunand won't work for me on 9.5. So someone on a 9.x system should also test emunand.

(still doing system update so don't know yet if it works for me)

Stability.
3DSs were slipping off their owners pockets and hands. So with this update they should be more stable to hold and keep..

Wise to make a win32diskimager backup of your 9.4 emunand incase you either:
a) accidentally update
b) get sick of the update nags
c) corrupt your emunand install somehow

No not really. 9.5 was aimed more towards N3DS. I would think they are saving the real flashcard blocking efforts for fw 10.0 (or 9.6 if for whatever reason they decide not to jump to 10.0. )
