People here had a date, it was if I remember, on December 16 that there'd be restock of GameCube adapters but I guess that didn't happen.

Just a bit more of patience and Mayflash will have theirs for the public to purchase.

Provided they actually add said support. As of now, their adapters are not compatible with Smash.

Gamestop is selling a bundle with an adapter puls 2 smash edition controllers for 80$. It's the same price to buy each individually, so that seems like the best option.

Eesh, that's not good then if it ain't compatible with Smash then no other Wii U game? That's probably going to delay it until they figure it out.

I guess I can't expect them to add support for other Wii U games without Nintendo adding the support via updates first.

Its also sold out here in the Philippines XD Good thing I used to play alot in the 3DS version so 3DS button layout is good enough for me and I don't think I need this adapter and the gc controller

Gamecube Adapters have been in stock twice today very briefly on Amazon, good luck to anyone trying to get one!

The original message was referring to the official GameCube adapters but it's more or less the same going with the Mayflash GameCube adapters.

Best to stick to one of the two and avoid other unknown third party adapters like this:

Who made it? Who knows.

Amazon is acting very funny... When they do go "In stock" it says they will be in stock on January 23rd, and will ship then so that looks like our next hopeful date.

YES, just managed to get one ordered, sat there reloading the page for an hour till I could get one. Good luck to everyone!!!

GameSeek (UK retailer) says that by January 30 they'll have the Mayflash GameCube adapter in stock so I presume the rest by then will too.

Kind of cool they're stocking it. GameSeek also has a presence on eBay so if you're in Europe they might be the best retailer to get the adapter from.

The boxes will also have their company logo on it rather than Mayflash's so they'll try to make as much profit as possible.

Price: £15.98 (UK - w/shipping included)

I know not everyone here lives in the US, but if you do I highly recommend going to or calling your local Best Buy. I went to mine and they were out of stock (as expected), but you can ask them to check the warehouse. In my case they had plenty in the warehouse and I was able to get one shipped to my house (with FREE shipping).

Maybe this could be indicative of retailers finally getting more supplies and soon starting to stock them in stores? We can all hope.

Either way I still find this whole situation ridiculous. The fact that a third party has made a clone of Nintendo's own product and made it actually better (with official PC support) and released it worldwide partnering with known retailers (e.g. Play-Asia and GameSeek) all the while Nintendo is still scratching their heads wondering how to produce a piece of plastic not worth $10 is very sad.

I find it strange that February's almost here and Nintendo hasn't said one word regarding when their Nintendo GameCube adapters will be available again, it's like they've given up on it and now are leaving it for the third party and scalpers to deal with.

I'm not using my GameCube adapter as of now, instead, it's just below the TV gathering dust.

I finally just caved to an eBay reseller who had the official Nintendo one for $39.99 w/ free shipping. What's aggravating is he had 10+ in stock and has sold over 100 of them.. How are resellers obviously getting easy stock of them yet end users have to camp out with their F5 button and harass Best Buy just to come up empty handed and buy from a reseller out of frustration?

They were available for a really long time and during that no one seemed to care much about it until they went extinct.

Nintendo looks as though have given up on it as it's February and there's nothing about their new stock.
