Okay, so then, how do I move my emuNAND from one SD to another? I have the emuNAND tool, and I've extracted the NAND from my old SD Card, but when I try to boot into Gateway mode on the new SD, It freezes with a white bottom screen and the top screen saying "Failed to load full page". I have the Launcher.dat file on the new SD as well.

Help?

Site's a bit slow to load. Make sure you have the 3.0.1 launcher.dat and retry a few times.

Could someone explain what the "separating/linking emu/sys nand" is. Seeing lots of people saying to do one or the other.. Especially with downgrading

emunand and sysnand are linked, meaning, if you do something on one end it replicates on another
formatting either one of them (with the sd card out of the system) and plugging it back in after the format is done, it seperates them
this helps as you can access data management on sysnand without losing .cia installs on emuanand, or your games are not always gift wrapped

Sorry for the question, but there is one thing that i don´t understand. Is it possible to use emunand without a Gateway card?

No. You need the Gateway card inserted for emuNAND to boot up.

Once it has booted up though, you are free to remove the card. To be honest, it is probably an artificial limitation, but of course they are going to protect their product...

Thanks for the info. So if I formatted the emunand with the sd card in (already done), it's best to take it out and format emunand again. Then it will be unlinked and I don't have to format it again?

basically, formatting makes 2 separate folders for each NAND, that's why you take it out before format

Hmm, how does it create the folder if the sd card isn't in the system though? This is the 3ds sd we are talking about?

Edit: Nevermind I get it now. Format inside the 3ds system settings then it creates new folders when you put the sd card back in

Yep, somewhat likely, which sucks for us users, cause it just means we have to wait longer!

Yep, it does, but their business has to come first at the end of the day if they want to continue to make money. Not that I wholeheartedly agree with their constant "couple of days" emails since December.
