You can downgrade without needing the gateway card it seems. Means anyone can go ahead and install CIA CFW if it's true. Gotta wait for them to add the downgrade packs to confirm.

3ds needs fat32, and it should work with any card
red gateway card can accept exfat
why do you need that much storage
