Just wait it out. This thing has much better functionality than the Sky, it will be worth it.

I know functionality of gateway. I've used it on my 4.5 XL for half a year. But ONLY because of their announcement I've bought an N3DSXL. I've paid huge postal fee and disgusting customs tax. I had to fill out documents and have telephone talks with FedEx. I've waited for over a month to play something on my N3DS. Now all we get is a kick in the face. I don't care about the downsides of it. I will use GW oncle they finally release it. I just want to play on my N3DS already.

I was reading this thread when it was just 5 pages, but hours later it's way too big to read all. So not doing so, I just want to ask, is there a way to back up, edit, and restore a Pokemon X/Y/OR/AS save with PKhex and Gateway 3.0 beta? That's the only reason I bought Gateway, for Pokemon. Backup my saves for all 4 games, play Japanese roms so I could obtain their event pokemon, and try out PKHex.

can someone tell me what the point of gateway classic is? I used my pokemon y cartridge and it boots fine when I normally load into sysnand or when i boot into classic, but not when I boot into Gateway mode. Is it for online mode?

if Mii Maker exploit is not patched yet and they meant webKit exploit when
they recommended to not update to 9.3 , if that true DON"T expect the new
update coming any time soon ( maybe 6 months or something like that )
they won't burn their exploit until nintendo release N3ds to the world

The current beta is only for Classic 3DS (non-NEW) models.

Sadly for those wishing New 3DS will have to wait a bit, current ETA is less then a week for full support.

As like you notice the 'browser' exploit does not work on the New 3DS, it forces you to update first, which of course we don't want.

So you will have to wait until final glitchs are solved in the Mii Maker Exploit as shown in earlier videos and previous guides.

This is being worked on every minute of the day, and once everything is solid a new release will be done with New 3DS support.

Stay tuned, it not been easy the last 72 hours been rough for all of us, even me I am still awake now on my 60th hour, really need to crash soon.

Ah, don't you have stores where you can rent them?

Nearest video game store is 30 minutes by train from my city and I'm not sure they rent games. Majority of games and consoles in my country is bought online, stores are slowly dieing out...at least in smaller cities.

For playing cartridges from different regions ie. you buy super sonico game, you can play it with gateway classic

i was having the save problem, but i discovered a workaround by using pokemon bank. Just export and edit your gateway 3dz rom save with savedatafiler and then after you inject that save to your 3dz rom you use pokemon bank and move the edited pokemon there and then later you can just boot into gateway classic and use pokemon bank with your cartridge and move the edited pokemon there. For full save editing for carts, unfortunately it looks like we're out luck right now.

You'll find that the N3DS models aren't supported officially due to not being confident in releasing yet. Yes, exploit is going to be generated VIA QR Code. And will be made available sooner than you think. Major testing has already been underway. thanks, please remain with utmost patience

I had no problems on my first try. I think the sd card of the 3ds need to be formatted to fat32.

If you're actually a part of Gateway (or the tester team), we'll need confirmation from Gateway or GaryOPA.
