Is it safe to go to data management and unnistall .cias from there?(in emunand?)

Its currently running the h2testw. Oh man i hope my gateway card isnt broken or something. Games seem to run fine but sometime the game card removed error... :'(

Do not ever visit data management in emunand.
Only way to access data management in sysnand is to format emunand first so you unlink them.

well that's also an option, but that's only if the problem is caused by firmware, i'd go on with localizing the issue before i blame the firmware, otherwise he'll keep on having to install cia games (slow as fuck) on sd card which is prolly smaller because he didn't plan to keep games ony to realize it's sd card that's fucked or he needs to stabilize it.

i though you shouldn't use one in sysnand and emunand is safe, then again might be wrong since i haven't really had the need to uninstall anything yet.

hmm you mean CIA install in emunand right? i could try that too. As soon as the 2hwtest is over i will put a little paper between the sd slot and see how it goes...

Last option CIA install or Returning the gateway and asking the reseller for a new one

so how do i unistall .cias?, i can delete the .cia file after the installation? i deleted it then i think that's why the game isn't working ;-;

realize that roms you've changed are fragmented and you have to copy everything, format sd and copy it back.

btw nice hint for newbies, some games keep save files in roms, for example pokemon x and y, also you can't use your 3ds saves on 3dz files, and if i remember 3dz saves are locked to your header.
don't run data management in sysnand. keep backing up your stuff.

Honestly it's amazing how easy it is to lose your savegames on 3ds.

no sysnand before installing emunand is ok once, i'm talking about backing up your sd with emunand cos if something gets fucked up you won't lose all your data.
win32diskimager is a good tool for that.

When you've installed a CIA game, after you reboot your console, the CIA game is still packaged.

When you've installed a CIA game, after you reboot your console, the CIA game is still packaged.

No bug. If the game is different region from your console, it will be packaged every time after you quit.

Use same region as your console

My console is JP. I've tried JP CIAs, but the package is still there.
I would try more again.

What save conversion?

They made progress with save now because I have no more corrupted save when I play with my Pokemon ORAS retail on classic 9.2 emunand.
(I was able to play it only on my 4.5 emunand before the update)
