Hacking Scene releases and sky3ds?

My sky3ds is arriving next week and all of these broken English guides are making my head spin

Does a scene release need to be converted to 3dz or altered in any way before it'll function on the sky3ds?
Also what is EEPROM?
 
You know I never looked into it.. so does it mean they use public headers?
How does the whole online header work?
Aren't the headers stored in the template file? We can send headers to them for them to implement into the headers, I think.

So really, yes, I believe they are using public headers.
 
woudnt that cause issues if two people go online with the same header?
It's been happening for ages anyway without Sky3DS. I don't know of any confirmed issues or bans caused by 2 people going online and using the same header. For all we know, Nintendo might not be able to directly trace which header is being used where.
