As I conclude my piece examining the monstrous thread on the gbatemp forum, I can only ask... "Why?"
We have been speculating for such a long time that it seems the wait has stagnated like an astronaut would appear to freeze at the event horizon of a black hole. And never was there a greater analogy than a black hole, for in 48 hours, a comparatively short timespan compared to the overall life of this thread, we have seen almost every single person on the forum become exhausted, pessimistic, and downtrodden.
If I had to give my humble opinion, it would be that the Gateway release cannot come soon enough for these tortured souls.

And in our final trip back in time on the forum post to end them all, we see gamesquest1 optimistically believing that a Gateway victory was imminent. We know now that tragically, this was not the case, as even now, nearly SIX WEEKS LATER, we still have nothing from Gateway. Truly, history is a marvel.

Except he isn't responsible for it. GW is.

Of course he's not responsible that GW didn't deliver but he's responsible for his own actions which in this case was telling the community that it was going to be released in 48 hours which didn't happen and he's the mod of the official support forum and he also claimed that he was in contact with the team. That makes him a little bit responsible for the hate or he may be a victim too. We can't know unless he makes a statement. That is what I'm asking here.

I really got that feeling too. He might be another tool of GW's policy which is intended to keep people on the hook and stall them. Just speculation though.
