The main issue is no apps show up at all almost besides the 4 main ones from the guide. The homebrew channel is set to read SD card.

So I'll explain what I did.
I followed this guide http://www.groovypost.com/howto/softmod-nintendo-wii-easy/

Here was the first issue this site said I had to download an additional modpack while every video on youtube didn't do that. So I just went with letterbomb only without the modpack.
However later in the guide I needed some apps like the "wii mod batch" so what I did was I formatted my SD card and then did a fresh letterbomb on it again + the modpack on the root of the SD. (it asked me if I wanted to overwrite boot.elf file which I clicked yes on)

So then I went back to following the guide and did what must be done with those 4 apps and there didn't seem to be any issues.

Now at the bottom of the guide they recommend some apps so I got all 4 of them and initially none of them ever showed up in the homebrew channel. However after tampering a while with maps I got the Wiiflow one to show up in the homebrew channel but when I launch it, it gives me nothing but error.

I'll upload a file of how my map looks on the root of the SD. The bottom is how the apps file looks inside.

Did I fuck it up?

Ok so I got all files from Modmii, do I delete the homebrew channel and reinstall it following Modmii? I installed it with letterbomb having the SD card on lock (didn't pay attention) and I'm afraid there might be something wrong with it.

If the Homebrew Channel is installed and working fine, there's no need to reinstall it. Base your new modding process off of there.

On the front page of the USB channel it says please connect a usb device. I tried 2 different usb devices set up with modmii, so I must assume both were incompatible? Or could there be another underlying issue?

If it's incompatible would it be possible then to play games from my SD?

edit: It works now, my TV has xenoblade chronicles ingame as I type.

Your patience with me is sincerely appreciated.

Yeah it works now. The first time the screen just turned to black but the second time after i restarted the Wii it all went fine and it recognized the usb and the games on it. Modmii is truly god's gift. :D
