That countdown is not correct. They announced it privately 8 hours before this was created, also the update is due to be released in those 48 hours not in 48 hours.

GBA support is probably gonna happen. Sky may be also blocked. Who knows.

garyopa pretty much confirmed a 48 hour timeframe for release (as in, within 48 hours). About 1 day and 14 hours until that time frame runs out. It also fits well with the January 8th date and the 2-3 days e-mail.
