GW team disappeared for ~2 months before 2.1 came out. Pretty sure they didn't answer emails for over a month.

Yeah, it's a very different situation. Back then they were just waiting for some new features, or play some newer games. This time, we have bought a product that we can't even use right now.
I'm just staring at the box sometimes, waiting for something to happen, hahaha!
But instead of doing all the time, I'm hanging around here a bit, or play some Diablo to pass the time.

Yeah, dropping vague dates like that does seem kind of unprofessional.
Being no stranger to the Internet, I totally get why they're doing it, (I mean look at how this thread has exploded to 634 pages of speculation, drama, and whining) but I hope we had something more definite.
