I have just received a SKY3DS card. I have copied over a 3ds rom to the SD card. When I insert the card into the 3DS I see the game, when I click on it I get "You cannot use this card" Any help would be appreciated!?!

Yes you have to be more specific. What game?
And, you may need to use another template. I have had several games that didnt work until I changed to an older template. Then, the games worked perfectly.
Some games, however, are not in the template. Which means they wont work. Also, you must take care that the region of your game matches the region of your system.
You cannot use games marked (E) europe in a USA region system. Hope this helps.

So far, the Sky3ds BLUE card is one of the best cards I have ever used. My only critique is that Sky3DS must add many more games to the template.....Legend of Korra, Shovel Knight, Legend of the Dark Witch, Aeroporter, SpeedX 3D, im looking at you.

Hi guys, All copied via Diskwriter! In this instance Mario Kart 7, using the latest template from SKY3DS. Any game that I try and add via diskwriter, I get the error "This card cannot be used" Its strange because when I put the card in, it flashes as normal, the Game graphics show and the sound. But when its clicked doesn't work "This card cannot be used"

There are some reasons why it wont start: trimmed rom, patched rom, bad rom and wrong region rom
Try to find another rom ^^

So much for the Sky3DS being more accessible and user-friendly than GW. I never had to bother with templates with GW >_>

My 6 year old won't have to carry 2 carts around and learn how to crash the 3DS to get back into "gateway mode" when he plays DS games; plus he'll be able to play on his v9.2 3DS. I'd say that's pretty user friendly.

No, he will have to deal with templates instead. Unless of course you get your hands dirty and deal with them for him. Which still makes the Sky3DS un-user-friendly. Unless having to have someone savvy handling things to get games working for you is your idea of user friendliness.

Edit: Also, I would like to add that (re-)installing the DS Profile exploit is easier and simpler than dealing with templates whenever you need to get a game working, as the process is always exactly the same and you don't even need to think about it. And if your 6 year old is playing both 3DS and DS games, he will always have to carry more than one cart regardless of whether he's using Sky3DS or GW. Heck, he will probably have to carry with more cards with Sky3DS. More MicroSD cards, that is. Unless he's using the blue button Sky3DS and doesn't mind taking ages switching games.

People should really start reading more and get more technical knowledge before trying to stupidly compare two cards...

Can you be more specific? What do you mean the games didnt work and which games were they?

Lets say the game loads into the DiskWriter and then it doesnt work in the 3ds......you have to load an older template and delete the game and re uploaded it or just change the template and close the window?
