Gaming Best Multiplayer Shooter?

Hi there!

I'm not THAT crazy about ego-shooters in general, but back in the days I loved to play Goldeneye (N64), Perfect Dark (N64), The World Is Not Enough (N64), TimeSplitters 2 (GCN), Perfect Dark Zero (XB360) and Perfect Dark (XBLA) in Multiplayer.

Well, I looked at the Wii U releases to see what kind of shooters are available - and I'm afraid I finally have to get into CoD to get something decent...

What do you think should I get? Ghosts? Black Ops II? 007 Legends? () I hear different opinions which CoD is better, so I'm a little unconfident. Is the online community of both titles still alive?

I watched the Nintendo Direct when it was announced and while it may be a fun game (and I might give it a shot someday), it isn't really what I'm looking for. Thanks anyway!

There's CoD Ghosts and Black Ops 2 for multiplayer.. that's about it (Sniper Elite V2 doesn't have multiplayer on the Wii U version).

I'm just wondering which Call of Duty is more recommendable. Both are on the shelves for a while now, so I'd like to know which one is more popular for Multiplayer.
