My new 3ds is stuck on language select is there any way I can fix this

i tried searching, but there is a pic of the internal hardware of the new 3ds on the forums i cant find it tho. you should be able to fix it your self

itll be the only one that connects to the bottom screen. not to sure based off the images tho

This disassembly shows the touch screen.

I've never seen a New 3DS before in person, but from the photos it looks like the connector for the touch screen is this one:


I'm not sure where you're going to get a replacement though if the touch screen is bad. I'm all for repairing things when possible, rather than replacing them, but I don't think those parts are readily available yet. If you haven't already disassembled the item, it may be better to just return it to the store.

someone else i read had this problem and it was the new c stick always pressing to one direction that was stuffing it up if i recall...

And how did they fix that? my touch screen actually works for a few seconds then stutters, I made it all the way to internet settings, maybe there's still hope?
