maybe its downloading in the background, but it still needs your confirmation to update the system. I have enabled everything, but I dont know where the update file is saved to or what name file the update has... anyone??

If your router has a firewall or has a 'Block Sites' feature (as mine does), you can block:

• nus.c.shop.nintendowifi.net
• nus.cdn.c.shop.nintendowifi.net

and updates won't download.


I've heard that disabling SpotPass does not stop System Updates downloading automatically.

Sadly it doesn't. Both my New 3ds and old 3ds come up asking for me to install with spotpass disabled.

My guess for 9.0-9.2 support == December 23 and it'll be called 3.0 and will be compatible with both 4.0-4.5 and 9.0-9.2.

Don't see how it'd update without internet, so you're safe.
I have a third with the internet disabled, so worst case scenario I'm still fine.

Yup, as long as you have the latest update of said game.
Also, be conservative with your WiFi and only have it on when you are actively using it.

I got the update prompt on 9.2.0 emuNAND. But I went into System Settings to update anyway just in case.
