He clearly works with/for Sky3DS so who cares, he's after attention but what he doesn't realise is Sky3DS already has everybodys attention, It's the butt of many peoples jokes.

He has been complaining about Gateway and has been saying he regrets his purchase in many threads, although it is hard to understand a lot of his posts. Most people here seem pretty patient compared to him.

I'm sure lots of people would be happy if they released the 9.0-9.2 firmware right now, but Gateway is looking at the big picture, they want to provide support for people above and below the 9.0-9.2 range.

do you think the american version will came with 9.3??? just speculate people, based in past nintendo products... im hoping for the best

btw i hope that <9.x firmware support is going to be released with the major update ç_ç i don't want to wait more than you guys

The Japanese New 3DS was released with 8.1, the Australian New 3DS was released with 9.0 firmware. I'm assuming the Americas and Europe will receive their consoles sometime in the Spring of 2015, and by then the current 3DS firmware might be even much higher than it is now potentially blocking all of the current exploits (Sky3DS and Gateway). But we also have to factor in the time that it takes to manufacture the consoles, they might even be in the process of being assembled at this moment. It's hard to say, but I'm sure Nintendo doesn't want to launch their consoles in the US/EU region with a big exploit available.

Yes sky works on all firmware but does not support all games(cant play JPN on EU console), and switching games is tedious even if it works perfectly.

Create a multirom interface and make it region free and i'd choose Sky over Gateway.

Exactly. There is no point to having a 3DS unless you can play Shantae and Senran Kagura 2 on the same system.

The amount of people that called it fake, is insane. There are those times I love when people eat their words.

Anyway, we're all still waiting for that GW9.0-9.2 support, so hopefully they finish up within the next few days.

Also, people about the Sky3DS: If they're stealing the hype from Gateway, then so be it. It's probably best they do that, because I'm sure that'll only make Gateway pick up the pace to bounce back on top.

There are people that also do not care for region lock or homebrew, and just would like to play their back-up games. Sky3DS is probably the best thing for them now. I'm guessing Sky3DS emulates something to allow it to play on all firmware, which is a major plus for people who just want to play pirated games without changing their whole system like the Gateway.

They should probably lower their price though, Gateway is sold with 2 carts and is less expensive. Sky3DS needs to get their head out of their ass and lower it down, and I'm sure they'll have a decent percentage of the market then.
