Hacking Just Got Gateway... Totally Noob about it

hi

so, i just got a gateway and a capable 3ds, to play backup games
but, as the title says, im totally noob
my questions are:

1 - i read in another site, to play smash bros you have to be on emunand 8.1 and you have to update using a game card because you cant update via wifi anymore, but the lastest gateway files leets you update emunand to 9.2. Its safe update via wifi to 9.2 and play smash bros without problem or its better use a gamecard to update

2 - the gateway mode works like a modded psp? i mean, every time i shut off completely the system i have to re-do all the process with bluecard and stuff

3 and last one - with emunand on 9.2 can i enter in eshop to download updates for pokemon x example

1. yes, you can update emuanand now(at time of post) via wifi, 9.2 will work fine.
2. No, gateway mode aka emunand mode or classic mode, does not require you to reinstall with blue card, however it does mean you need to open profile again every time you shut off or open settings and exit. Also if you run a ds game(not 3ds) you have tpo reinstall via blue card

Remember to update emunand from its System Settings only. (bottom right corner of top screen will say GW3D 4.5, for example). Everytime you quit System Settings the system will reboot and you'll be back to sysnand.

No, the 9.3 update does not work at the moment.

I dont know if you are alredy on 8.xx but if you are not and you want to play super smash bros try pressing up while launching ds profile exploit and after that you will be able to update to 8.xx when you try to open super smash bros
