Formatted my post better. There isn't a firmware out yet that patches their exploit, so no need to warn anyone.
Nah, of course they'll wait until the new 3ds is out in the whole world.Gateway has already announced the exploit. As a result I have little doubt that Nintendo will wait to release the NA n3ds until they've had a chance to patch the exploit. So I strongly doubt that Gateway will wait until after the NA n3ds release (waiting games with Nintendo will last a long time). If they were planning to do that they wouldn't have announced the exploit until at least the NA n3ds release date was announced. Unfortunately, NA n3ds will be all patched. Too bad, gateway could have reached a bigger hardware market if they just kept quiet a little longer. It was sky3ds that pushed them to spill the beans.

You seem confident. Prove it, convince me.
I just can't see it happening, it seems irresponsible to me.

I honestly hope they won't wait for USA and EUR.

I know it sounds "convenient" but I can't import an AUS 3ds and I won't even be able to buy one launch date here (Portugal) so ... I'm limited to the 3ds I have, I just want to use the Gateway I have ASAPYeah, because you euroguys already got the first EUR N3DS models through Australia (not that I care about buying an expensive N3DS though).
I would like so as well, but unfortunately there is no proof supporting such a claim.Theyll release it till Christmas Im sure of it!
I honestly hope they won't wait for USA and EUR. That'll take so long! And if they wanted to do that, they'd release the video much later.
It coincides perfectly with Christmas too.
Also, according to Garyopa, they're just waiting to finish internal testing on AUS 3DS.

That bad? Whoa.Don't listen to that horseshit prick over at maxconsole.
Gateway supports region-free, so you should just wait for them to release the update for 9.2I have bought a jap n3ds just yesterday, hoping this update will came asap.
I was wondering if there will be a method to play my retail eur version of alpha sapphire on it (using the gw in some way), or if I have to buy a new copy from japan. (If it is so, I'll stop playing where I'm now and sell it) and also if i can play online with it (if i can use my eur version, or if some patch of the game come out and i'm stuck on 9.x)
Not only that, what he said contradicts the video. You can clearly see a JN3DS, while he said they ordered AUS N3DS.Don't listen to that horseshit prick over at maxconsole.
The email doesn't say that. You're just speculating. No emunand support yet

That bad? Whoa.

But I was wondering If I could use the EUR console online capabilities in full being here in Brazil. Will I be able to use the online features and buy eShop things with a EUR console being in another country?
I'm not sure about that, and this would be the only hold back for me importing a the NN3DS from AUS.
Little OFFTOPIC:
I sold my EUR 3DS (normal) yesterday and I'm saving that money to buy a NN3DSIt was almost forgotten in a drawer and I almost never used it.
I was hoping I could use it with my EUR Fantasy Life save (before we figure out we could export/import the saves to use it with the US game.
I'm kind of itching to import a PAL NN3DSBut I was wondering If I could use the EUR console online capabilities in full being here in Brazil.
I'm kind of "cautious" in importing because I tried to buy the DLC in my EUR console back then I only got errors so my question is:
Will I be able to use the online features and buy eShop things with a EUR console being in another country?
