If Nintendo is smart they won't release any games with fw 9.0 - 9.2 at all. When Gateway release their update they block it in 9.3 and then they start releasing games with 9.3. That way no one will be able to update a 5.x - 8.x console to 9.0 - 9.2 anymore and that means no way to be Gateway compatible... I was hoping for a 9.x fw on the new Pokémon games so there would still be a way in the future...

They're not doing a midnight launch, but from JB Hifi using this voucher http://i.imgur.com/g2mGLEW.jpg (it says it's unique but it's multi use, not unique)
It's $49 before the discount.
Alot of people successfully ask them to price match another store before applying the discount which would make it even cheaper though it is against the T&C.
It's $44 at Big W & Target so if you match the price and use the voucher it'd be $35.20. I might try that actually.

I'll be able to snag my copy as I leave for home, since I get off at midnight anyways. :D

So I listened to music, to be exact the legendary battles. The Gen III legends have remade themes. Other gens however... have original. Even bloody Legendary Dogs use Gen II 8-bit music and not HG/SS versions. At least Lugia and Ho-oh are from HG/SS.

Then it's a good thing we now have the ability to modify games. Could replace the entire soundtrack with Spandau Ballet's Gold if anyone were so inclined.
