The controller to be used via the GameCube adapter (an exact replica of the original NGC controller) is available for pre-order within all three regions and looks like this.

Amazon.com product page has also revealed that there will possibly be the Stage Builder (like in Super Smash Bros. Brawl) feature as well as a Board Game mode.

The only one that skips the exception is the Wired GameCube controller for the adapter because the others sadly have digital triggers (terrible decision by PDP/Hori).

Im so glad that the stage builder has been somewhat confirmed. I know we only have the amazon source page but that has made me feel somewhat better about getting the wii-u version too. Board game mode could be fun too if implemented right. The only thing im hoping for now is a decent single player mode that lives up to how good the subspace was in brawl and ill have everything i need. Bring on december 5th!

Yeah, that part is nucking futs, topped with the fact that the online mode won't suck and be a lagfest either.

I think it's awesome that we finally have 8-Player Smash though the most people I've had playing Smash with me at a time is two.

As a personal downside I'd hoped there would be more stages in the Wii U version... and that the Past Stages weren't all the same ones from Brawl...

Oh, no. There was a lot of new info. The Mewtwo announcement was just at the end of the presentation so it's the last thing on everyone's minds.
