I don't know about the Y screenshot feature...knowing Nintendo it's most likely a photo album link or a custom background (even that's pushing the limit). Personally, if I were the developer, I would program L+R to take a screenshot. I hope it is, but again, it probably isn't.

But Nintendo cares and they wanted to avoid the hassle to Gateway.

Jokes aside, the select button is the most unused of the system; this was a weird choice.

It's not like the Y was used for anything in the main menu either. The select seems to just be only used when there's no other buttons left or something.

Yes because Nintendo only has one programmer........... That have hundreds to thousands of software developers, so what if a team of three of them are put aside to make themes........doesn't delay or prevent anything else from being made.

Im sure nintendo will launch this update a couple of days after Super smash bros usa realese making Gateway users unable to download the patch to play online, i hope this update doesnt leave emunand useful forever or it will be very difficult for Gateway team add Pokemon Omega support

I hope the themes are super cheap. I have like a buck and some change left over on my account when I originally loaded it up to get Pokebank access.

I'm also hoping they come out with a new patch for Pokemon X/Y when Omega Sapphire comes out. Assuming they both run the same game engines and they fixed the FPS dips in battles, I would like to see them improve the game a little bit. But I guess the demo will be enough to tell if they resolved that or not. Otherwise, X/Y won't benefit much from another patch. Another thing I look forward to is possible item storage support on Pokemon Bank. The demo supposedly will allow transfer of pokemon AND items like megastones into the full game. Not sure how this will end up working but perhaps the Pokebank will facilitate this.

If that's not an in game screenshot function WE RIOT!

Seriously. Turn 3D on in a game, hit suspend, go to the notes app and you can view the top screen that's suspended perfect... but cant save it.

Hopefully this Y feature just lets you snap the current suspended screen.

IF its for the OS only that would be next to useless.

You can post the current screen to Miiverse and maybe to some sites (I dunno), but there's no way to just save them to the SD card or something.
