shame that you need a 3ds with such old firmware.....where would you be able to find them? Would I have better luck looking for a used one, or trying my luck at a retail store?

eBay is a nice place. Just avoid the people trying to sell them for over what they're normally worth. That would be a scam.

Retail store look for a red or blue one with serial sw12xxxxx or lower, the serial is in the outside of the box easily viewable

My thoughts as well. Those models are way too high-quality for X/Y. They could have even ripped them from the iOS app.

the thread on the garrys mod forums says they're from X/Y. Shaders do wonders.

Most likely the latter. It's not hard to do.

UV fix is easy, yes. I more so mean adding bones, since there are some models where geometry is overlapping, causing the simple bone tools to pull more than they should.

You can move bones around in Blender very easily. I've had to use it with a few models in the past when converting them to TF2 skins, and they turn out fine.

I have a 4.5 3ds. And I'm trying to generate the xorpad files with it, I was told I needed a 3DS flashcart so I got one and did the 3ds setup with it. Then I went into DS profile settings and it said that.

did you copy the launcher.dat from the first post onto the SD card,

also you dont need a 3ds flashcard, just a 3DS compatible NDS flashcard.....but that may be what you meant

well my flashcard is R4i Gold. Not sure but I thought it would work. And yes, my launcher.dat is there.


edit: I had the wrong launcher.dat, derp. I had the launcher_nogw.dat instead.

the original xorpad generator was very slow and buggy, the new one can still be a bit buggy, and you will need to restart it a few times to get it to work, but its much more stable and fast once it gets started

if that one i linked says "reading ncchinfo.bin" for more than a few seconds reset the console and try again

So I have a file called "DecryptedRomFS.xor" what do I do with it, the tutorial mentions a bin file, not a xor file?

I have no idea how to enter a command line or anything like that either.

CTRTool opens then closes immediately so I'm unable to enter anything there.
