yeh yeh blabla ps3

3k3y team's words cant be trusted anyway, always big talk always delays and things not working as they promised anyway.
Personally i consider ukey dead, still hope something comes off of it though...but the dev team is just so shit imo.

Yes, the dev team is shit for putting the ukey on hold to work on the device that has a far bigger user base and would be more worthwhile for their time.

What's wacky is Bubba is raising a stir by weighing in and talking about the recent wiiuhax hack, but not a peep about the UK3Y which he is supposedly beta testing. I really wish we could get more UK3Y info.

They are shit for always lying, always delaying, releasing broken/non functioning/not fully functioning products which either get fixed within months (ofcourse after consumers have already purchased em) or just never..

And all they are talking about has been ps3 most of this year...one would assume they'd just DO it for once..
And finally..yes ps3 has a bigger userbase.. so what? PS3 is nearing its end, I find it hard to believe lots of people care for 3k3y..
I'd actually go as far to say the majority of modders doesnt even give a shit no more..i know I dont...

When you don't need to purchase a device and can do it all with software, why pay for a device? I am adding this not as a slight to anyone mentioned on here. I don't know all the politics. I do know that nobody from that circle has ever come across as arrogant or insulted people for being curious (not me anyway). I GUESS I'd want to see sale numbers. The 360 ODDE or "ode" seemed interesting to people as it was "less invasive" and they could (at the time) use all functions of the system without limitations. I never played with it myself but others cited that "less invasive" approach to piracy as their main interest.

for me that team wait for wiiU softmod info, if that happen for public not continue the work around ode... if wiiU softmod not happen that team continue the work around wiiUode

I can't believe it's September and no word yet on Wiikey U ?
Nice necrobump there.

There's been several "news" regarding the device as of late, ranging between changing the name of the device and the people behind it to starting pre-orders. I believe it's called WiiKey U now.

Yeah I guess there has been some progress, thanks. I really want one and hoping they get it out on the market soon.

I heard about Wii U key half an year ago but there hasn't been any updates on it since the announcement. Are they still working on it? Did they just announce what they were planning to do or something?

OMG PEOPLE Its WiiKeyU not wiiukey XDDDDD

If the tech is mostly deved and done as has been indictaed then I think they have held of ona production run until the can get enough WiiU out there to sell to, also Several reputable vendors are taking pre-orders so I think the team is tying to judge interest level. They likely need X amount of unit comitments just to make the production run worthwhile.

And the problem with that is that most people are smart enough to not waste money on a hardware mod when they can wait and get a softmod for free :P it's the same deal with smea and flashcarts (most notably gateway) being able to run homebrew since the beginning, but it's not worth it for most people when a softmod is just around the corner.

problem is, a softmod is NOT around the corner. plenty of people went for gateway, and those who did not go for gateway were probably people who accidentally updated their 3ds, or those who just plan on buying the games legit and just want homebrew. softmod for the wii u is a long ways off, so if the wiikeyu comes out before the softmod, then i'm all for it.

hacking scene:

devs: i have found an exploit that can possibly bring in warez!!!
public: where is it?
devs: F*CK YOUUUU!!!
