Is there any confirmation whatsoever that these will come out in the west?
I kinda asked this before but for a video. I think right now they are coming up with a new name or translating the video and putting it out.

I like everything but the button placements, maybe I can pick up old XL model cheap after they are released. :D

internet browser optimization and html 5 support, A,B,Y,X are now colored, the screens are a bit bigger,
some rumors say that they doubled the ram, the buttons position changed (start, select, volume, power ect), there's no wifi slider anymore (we'll be able to change it in the home screen), battery life is a little bit better, We'll be able to transfer files through wifi, there will be a light sensor and the brightness will auto adjust according to your lighting ... I might be missing some but that's all I can think of

2 c pad, 1 d pad, 4 main button, 4 shoulde button.
It like a Dual Shock, or should I say 3 Dual Shock .

Why hasn't NoA made a video on this yet?

Because we will get it untill 2015 and is too early to make an official announcement.

In other news, anyone thinks the same?: I mean, since this revision will b more powerfull than regular 3DS's, then it means more emulation capabilities, and:

Im curious about just how much faster it is. o.o
Also, since they are embracing pc file transfers now, I wonder if they will support 3rd party 3d videos.

The game cart slot is now under the lower screen.

Also, don't want to sound rude or anything, but you should list this changelog as a "Japanese 3DS" since an official announcement in the west hasn't been made, and I highly doubt that we'll geting the coloured buttons, maybe the purple ones like the western SNES.

  • Battery life has been slightly improved on both models, up to 7h/6h using 3DS software and 12h/10.5h using DS software on the bigger/smaller consoles respectively.
  • The new 3DS screen is larger than the original by about 1.2X.
  • Both models will have auto brightness.
  • Wireless backup to PC.
  • Enhanced browser with HTML5.
Others:
  • The replaceable shells are exclusive to the smaller variant.
  • The smaller circle pad is known as the "C-Stick" in Japan.
  • If I'm not mistaken, the new system has more RAM as well. However, there isn't a good source to prove this yet.
  • Camera can now adjust brightness accordingly.
  • Volume controls are moved to the upper screen section.
  • Wireless toggle is removed.
  • Officially stated that MicroSDXC cards will not be supported. However, there might be a chance for it to work.

The new 3DS (LL) has auto brightness.

I thought both versions had the same feature, any source? I missed that info, and that's an improvement I'll love about the n3DS, but don't want the XL version.

Purple ones do not make sense. I think we will get new 3DS buttons like in new 3DS XL: colored letters.
And purple are not western, just north american. Europe got superior japanese SNES look.

Yes I got that same information in another thread, didn't knew that :o.

I hope so, the purple are so dull and ugly.

Yes, both versions have it. That's why it is N3DS (LL). The larger one has it too, in addition to the smaller model.

Let me fix the previous post to avoid confusion.
