I have a few. I haven't tried all of them yet. I know I've tried nintendont fowarder and it didn't work.

I've tried all of the custom forwarders I have installed. The only one that runs is Homebrew Browser. I guess there isn't anything left to do other than wait for a game with 5.0 or just get another Wii U.

Does anyone know if the retail version of Wii Sports Club has system update 5.0 on the disc? I still haven't found a way to fix this issue.

Did you read through this entire thread?(it's almost identical to your problem)
http://gbatemp.net/threads/semi-bricked-vwii.368993/

Try SysCheck or Alternate SysCheck that skips 1 IOS (if you tell it which 1).
TitleLister
DumpMiiNNand (if you can't read from the NAND you most likely won't be able to write/delete from it.)
Inspectmii
Hackmii installer logs (if any)

If All fails last part of thread is current option/choices.

I tried all of the above. "Syscheck" crashes back to the Wii menu. "Titlelister" does work but freezes and doesn't make a log on my SD. (I'll try to take screenshots) "DumpMiiNNand" boots up but gets stuck and freezes on loading IOS254. (I do not have IOS254 installed) "Inspectmii" loads perfectly but doesn't seem to give me any info on ios status.

At what point does it crash?

How long are you waiting before deciding that it's frozen?

Syscheck crashes almost immediatly after I run it. There is a flash that comes up on my screen for about a second and it boots back to the vWii menu. I let DumpMiiNNand sit for a good 10 minutes, it froze the console and had to pull the plug.

This has to be one of the biggest technical mistakes I have ever made. The main problem is that my Wii U will not update, just flat out refuses. I have tried so many times that I cant count.Usually it takes 30 minutes or so to download and when it goes to install I get error code 162-3006 every. single. time.

Hey dude, just curious. Did you happen to blacklist the nintendo servers on your router or modem and forgot? Because I got the same error message and that was my problem. Just have a look

Nope, I had this issue before the Web browser exploit was available. I've never blacklisted any Nintendo IP's. I also just purchased Hyrule Warriors in hopes it would fix the problem but the disc doesn't contain a system update.
