In regards to the RPC System guide I end up getting an error message instead of being able to connect. I'm pretty sure I followed all steps like described.

Here's a video illustrating the issue:

Updating the webspace, rebooting the Wii U and then running the browser again is such a waste of time.

Thanks for helping!

Yes, I changed it and compiled.

Snipped of my socket.h file:
Code:
/* IP address of the RPC client (in this case, 192.168.2.110) */
#define PC_IP    0xC0A8026E
Converter used:
http://www.miniwebtool.com/ip-address-to-hex-converter/

Still getting the error message on my Wii U and the Python session window doesn't show any reaction.

Thank you :)

Sorry for the editing but it's not in-sync with the Wii U. I only wanted to demonstrate that it doesn't react, no matter when or what I type.
Than its fundamentally a compiling issue on your part. The exploit works on both 4.10 and my 5.00 Wii U's when compiled correctly.

the command is ./build.sh rpc.c <version>

offtopic but

why the hell you created a video showing an error with fancy introduction, sound effects and music?

and an error like this doesn't even need a video... just a text describing the problem...

"Cuz you gotta have swag Homie"... no seriously agree, the beginning is just annoying :/

I had the same issue initially. The problem was that devkitPPC wasn't installed properly and therefore rpc.c wasn't compiling correctly. Are there any errors spitting out when you try to build rpc.c?
